Were just back from a week at the excellent Penvale Lodges. Added to this, apart from 2-3 hours one afternoon we had sunny weather. The 9 lodges are well set out and overlook 6 fishing lakes that are well stocked with rainbow trout. The staff are all friendly and keen to help. Our hot-tub was checked daily and it's drained...
What can I say apart from that these lodges are stunning. In a beautiful part of North Wales. We booked a Birches VIP lodge which came with a hot tub! We stayed in Birches VIP lodge, cant fault it! Nice extra touches like sunloungers on decking and washing powder and fabric conditioner. Will defintly be back.

The setting is stunning - you literally could be anywhere - total seclusion, absolutely no noise, lots...

My family group, consisting of parents, grandparents and kids aged 2 & 3 stayed here for a long weekend in October. There are 12 lodges in all, of which about 8 are rented out and all are set around the four lakes. The setting is stunning and we were lucky with the weather.
